Earlier in the day, the US embassy in Libya said that it is aware, with its celebrations on the tenth anniversary of the February 17 Revolution, the Libyan people's right to determine the future of their country and to demand good and transparent governance and respect for human rights.
While the embassy praised, in a statement today, the political progress in the Libyan crisis during the past months, under the auspices of the United Nations, it said that it looks forward to "the renewed opportunity to build a sovereign, united, secure and stable Libya" that is accountable to its citizens.
